Lexi's House

Lexi's House is a gentle renovation of a 1950's Canberra Housing Project home located in Canberra's Inner North. To the rear of the home was an existing 1980's brick addition that was disjointed and inhibiting the functionality of the home. Taking a sustainable approach, we opted to retain, remodel and integrate the existing 1980's addition, to take advantage of the Northeastern orientation and to allow a contemporary way of living. The new open plan living space now circulates directly to the outdoors while also  seamlessly linking through to the private spaces in the original 1950's portion of the home.
